International audienceThis study investigates the links on the one hand between the linguistic sphere and the extralinguistic sphere, and on the other hand between the structural dimension and the pragmatic/discursive dimension. It aims to know how both dimensions affect some uses of language, and more specifically the process of language acquisition. We focus on the production of the construction “c’est + X” by French-speaking children, between the age of 3 to 4, and their parents. We are interested both in formal characteristics and discursive/pragmatic characteristics (interlocutor of the child, activity and discourse sequences) of the uses of “c’est”.
